Thank you for visiting Maine Light Australian Labradoodles! We are a home based breeder of the Authentic Australian Labradoodle, established in 2009 and conveniently located in Southern Maine. Our breeding dogs are carefully chosen for their gentle and intuitive temperaments, robust health, and non-shedding allergy-friendly coats. Breeding these amazing dogs is both a passion for us, and a privilege. Our dogs offer us so much love and loyal companionship. They are a bright light in life!

Our Australian Labradoodles were bred for their human connection, loyalty, and intuition. Their natural instinct to bond with, understand, and please their humans makes them ideal partners for those needing emotional support, comfort, a calming influence, connection in a busy world, or kisses and cuddles on a hard day. They are Therapy for all of us.

The breed began with Service to others. Through our Maine Light breeding program, we have developed and refined the breed's innate responsiveness to helping their human companions in need. Our dogs are intelligent, focused, and on-task. They are workers and love nothing more than to stand by their humans and complete any task asked of them.

Let's face it. Australian Labradoodles make us laugh. Their playful antics and ability to make even mundane activities joyful are what set them apart from other breeds. To the young and young-at-heart, our dogs are best friends, confidants, silent supporters, biking partners, expert ball fetchers, hide-and-go-seek masters, and never ending foot warmers. Their people come first.
Puppy Head Start
Yippee!
From day one, all of our puppies are lovingly handled and nurtured to give them the best possible start to a full and balanced life as a valuable family member. We provide early neurological/tactile stimulation, frequent handling, holding, and cuddling, and age appropriate socialization. Our puppies are introduced to new sights, scents, textures, and experiences, and are carefully assessed for temperament to ensure the best possible fit for each family. Additionally, we offer an extended two week Puppy Head Start Training Program on a limited basis for those families who would like their puppy to have a jump start on etiquette, manners, and house training.
