Online Puppy School

Australian Labradoodles are an intelligent breed. We can almost see the wheels turn in their minds, and they can outsmart even the savviest of dog owners. As one of our Maine Light families says "my husband has an IQ of 140 and I was first in my college graduating class with a 4.0 average, but our dog has us beat on smarts". LOL. Maybe not quite, but an untrained dog will be naughty and difficult to walk, groom, or manage, while a well trained dog will serve you, be an outstanding companion, and be a pleasure to have around.

Here at Maine Light, we start our puppies on house training, kennel training, basic manners training, and patience training. This must be followed up with continued training as soon as your puppy joins his forever family. We have partnered with BAXTER & Bella's online puppy school to help you bring out the best in your puppy, even before you bring him home.  BAXTER & Bella's step-by-step training program includes lessons, video demonstrations, podcasts, games and activities for socialization, training tips, tricks and tools for success, live person conferences with a trainer, and lifetime support. We recommend this program for brand new puppy owners as well as experienced dogs owners.
